RCA Vctor Red Seal, 1946. De Luxe Edition. 5 record set in original binder, inscribed by Rubinstein to the former owner and dated in 1947 on the first paper sleeve. Toning and soiling to covers, some splitting to edges of sleeves. Records on red shellac in vg+ condition with light wear and a few scuffs to labels. Stamp of Birmingham-Southern College on inside front cover, and plate at rear. Laid in is an Italian newspaper article on Rubinstein dated in 1979.

DV 6, recorded at Carnegie Hall with the NBC Symphony Orchestra under Vladimir Golschmann.  Also contains Impromptu No. 3, Op. 51.  A nice, inscribed set and scarce thus. Item #6950
