Attractively bound edition of this biographical collection covering British nobility from 1502-1833, profusely illustrated with engraved portraits. This set has the distinction of being bound by the royal binder to King George IV and William IV, James Mackenzie. Interestingly, a young Joseph Zaehnsdorf with Mackenzie during this time, before establishing his own shop ca. 1842. A lovely and intriguing set.
