Title continues ...item ad fugandas à Dæmonibus eorumque ministris excitatas aëreas tempestates. Collectus tam ex Romano quàm diversarum Diœcesium Ritualibus in Cleri Ruralius usum.
Extremely rare mid-seventeenth century pocket exorcism book. This was a popular choice for blessings: “exorcisms to drive away various evils, and conjurations to drive away aerial storms excited by demons and their ministers” (trans.). The first edition was published in 1651 and many editions were published going forward, a testament to the popularity and utilization of the text. This copy clearly well-used and splashed with holy water throughout, though remains in presentable condition
OCLC cites only 2 holdings each for the 1651 edition and 1655.
